(CM--95a). Driving into a 110-year-old Chinese language school in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Chongfah Sinseung Wanich Bamrung School is a bilingual school in the northern Thai city Chiang Mai. The school conducts teaching in Thai and Chinese. Chinese culture such as Chinese fan dance, dragon and lion, calligraphy, Chinese painting, poems and proverbs are highly advocated in this school . Chinese Premier Li Keqiang visited the bilingual school on 13 October 2013. He read aloud ancient Chinese poems and talked about Chinese proverbs with students and expressed his hope that they could become the envoys of the China-Thailand friendship. There are many Chinese volunteers teaching Chinese in the school. The Chinese Premier praised their contributions to the development of bilateral relations and urging them to help further consolidate the public foundation for the China-Thailand friendship.
